I agree. BonJovi is a bit more of a glam band. You can get away with some glitter. I'd go a little less fussy at the Foo Fighters. Casual Jeans or some unstructured cargos (you're young enough!) and maybe a cami with a fun hoodie. You want to look good, without looking like you're TRYING to look good!

Have fun!

Thanks for your suggestions I think that a glitzy version of smart casual would be great for Bon Jovi... I'm just worried that it would be out of place (too preppy/done up?) at the Foo Fighters, their music is Alternative rock/Hard rock with a touch of grunge. Thoughts?

I suggest a funky top with jeans. Something with shine or sparkle, or something with a sexy cut, fun fabric/color combo, animal print, whatever, something that you wouldn't wear to work (but still looks like "you" if that makes sense). A cute feminine top like a halter top, or a sheer blouse over a cami, might fit the bill as well. I like Nicole's layering idea, so you could wear a jacket over it. Basically, the smart casual look, but with a glitizier top under the jacket.

Do you have a favorite pair of jeans? Something more casual than dressy? Also, you might want to dress in layers. If it gets a little warm, you can take off your cardi or jacket and have on a short sleeve top underneath. I'd stick with flats--like a pair of Converse, and leave the purse at home.

Hello -

I guess I'm posting this a little on the late side, but ah well, here goes:

Tomorrow night I'm going to see Bon Jovi in Toronto and I have no idea what to wear. I also have tickets to see the Foo Fighters in London (Ontario, not England) next week and, likewise, have no idea what to wear. Both are at stadium venues, for the Bon Jovi show we have seats on the floor and for the Foo Fighters we're up in the stands (no moshing for me).

Any thoughts? I'm a 21 year old student with a fairly feminine, classic personal style. I'm 5'4 with an hourglass body type.
