What you wear on stage needs to have more drama than what you would wear on the street. The New Yorker just came out with a section on fashion based on music and rock. It is called FASHION ROCKS. It is a supplement to the fall edition. You might want to check that out. I think that the contrast of feminine with edge would be a good look, example ruffles with a biker jacket.<br /> I would suggest contrast in color, black and white with red or any bright accent. It needs to read from a distance. This is a place where anything goes. It would of course be best to express the mood of the music,<br /> I think that being the only girl , it would be important to bring out the feminine, how about a vintage lace dress, with boots?( Leather and lace without the sleaze factor) I would try to get inspiration from performers that you admire.
