Jeans are great because you can crawl over seats (and people) with no worries. And you must layer tops - tanks, tees, a shirt with a hoodie or jacket. And always wear team colors! Wear comfortable to walk in shoes. If it gets cold wear shoes (and socks) that will keep your feet warm. Otherwise we'll keep tabs on the progress. We have a friend couple who are SUPER into the game and tailgating, and the husband brews his own beer. He developed his own recipe and he calls it "Longhorn El Jefe Hopaweizen." :D</p> <p>Angie, tailgating is when a group of people drive down to the stadium and park around it, in the parking lot or nearby, and set up tents or blankets around their trucks or cars and basically hang out and eat and drink beer or soda until the game starts. It's fun. It's kind of like a picnic at the stadium. I went to one tailgate on the roof of a parking garage adjacent to the stadium (with our beer brewing friend) and a neighboring tailgate group had a giant screen set up and SATELLITE TV projecting onto it from the back of their van so they could watch other games going on! They had armchairs and everything. First of all, I doubt anyone else will, and so you will just feel awkward and stick out like a sore thumb. I would wear teamwear, or the colors of whatever team you're rooting for.
