If the wedding involves a different culture, there may be other colors not worn, like red or green. You could wear a dressy pant outfit. I have a tan dress that I wear with blush or pink accessories to weddings. It has gotten compliments as being appropriate for the occasion. The dress is just over the knee, fit and flare, so it has som swish and works for dancing. The fabric is a woven textured blend.
