Thanks for the helpful suggestions. Earlier this year I swore I'd never wear a boho top (we called them peasant tops back in the 70s) especially not a polyester one, but I fell in love with this one when I saw it. It is somewhat fitted, not too much extra fabric, so is flattering.

This is a great color palette! When I was a buyer we always considered blues universally flattering and if something came in blue, we bought it. Looks like you've covered all the bases for what sounds like a wonderful vacation. Have fun. Blue-ish gray-ish jacket looks good.

I'm liking all these colors, and that blue patterned cardigan particularly. I don't know about the beige pants from your previous post with this combination of colors. I vote for something else in the blue / grey / black family, maybe a pattern if you have one that goes more with these tops.

Gosh. I don't know whether or not it's a good travel capsule, but it looks like my closet! :)

In all seriousness, these are my happy colours and they work together brilliantly. Love the pretty new tunic! Boho lite and lovely!

I am not sure what to advise on the jacket. It's hard to say without try-ons, alas. Proportions are everything in these cases.

Oh, and it sounds like you'll have a wonderful trip!

Note that I've always been more warm based, but with age and gray I'm buying a lot of blue. Never wore it much except for navy.

Okay, Jackets:
#1
A gray North Face windbreaker rain jacket that rolls up small. (I've never had a trench coat that works for me, so I've quit for now.)

Next a dark olive utility jacket, VC, light weight, easy to wear.

Next a black Tahari jacket, or a blue-ish gray blazer? I was going t take the blue because it gives me a better hourglass illusion, but I'm wondering if the Tahari, (somewhat deconstructed--raw seams on shoulders) would be better for going out to nicer places.

#2 tops

Purple Pleiome, berry tank, cobalt EF tunic, Nik & Zoe sort of tunic (not worn yet. Impulse buy.) I'll also have a gray short sleeve Tee and a long sleeved black Tee. Also black and navy tanks.

#3 light weight toppers

Nik & Zoe Cardi blue, Nik & Zoe sheer cardi best fitting tank ever by same, and Land's End card.

Main bag: spotted this lightweight Longchamps in Nordstrom. Bought it in black. Not sure what else.

My son and his wife will meet us in Paris. He's been there, she never have, so they will do some sight seeing on their own. We have private tour of the Louvre scheduled for the four of us. I hope this works out.

We will go to Normandy one day.

We hope to wine & dine, do some things together or just meet up at night. DH and I have some museums to see and some shopping and wandering to do.

Right now it's looking like temps will be in 60s to mid-70s, cooler on coast, minimal chance of rain. I hope to buy scarves, maybe a bag, other accessories.

Sorry taking so long. Sorry I don't have the energy to try on stuff for you.
