And a black and white capsule is very versatile and should work if you like yourself in the high contrast.&nbsp;</p> <p>If you have room for everything and a possible need for it, I would take it all. Sometimes I find it helpful to plot out actual activities planned and how many days doing them, along with what I will wear for a variety of potential weather conditions. We will mostly be based in La Serena although some time in Santiago. </p> <p>It will mostly be casual, and should be warm and sunny.</p> <p>My list to date is</p> <p>Shorts - 2 pairs ( black, navy and white pattern)<br /> Ankle pants- 1 pair ( black and white pattern)<br /> jeans - 1 pair ( blue boyfriend)<br /> Exercise tights -1pair (black)<br /> Casual harems-1 pair ( black)<br /> Dress-2, one knee length, one maxi ( one striped, one floral)<br /> Tanks - 2 ( both black, one for exercise, one for sightseeing)<br /> Tee- four ( two black, one patterned, one blue)<br /> Long sleeve cotton top - 2 ( white and patterned, one doubles as beach cover up)<br /> Sweatshirt - 2 (grey, pink, one more of a gear item)<br /> Jacket -1 white</p> <p>Shoes<br /> tan sandals, black havaiana jandals, sneakers, wedges, beaded slides</p> <p>2 bold necklaces<br /> 1 swimsuit<br /> 1 belt<br /> 2 hats</p> <p>Plus underwear and socks.</p> <p>There is a lot of black in the list( shorts, two tees, two tanks, one harem pants). Am I foolish to take a white jacket? Three of the shoes are good walking shoes, and two suitable for dressy occasions. Do you think I should remove one topper? And maybe one dress? </p> <p>I have not been to Chile before, and I have tried to cover the following possibilities ( hiking, city sightseeing, beach, dinner out, conservative dress for any church sights, long flights and bus rides).</p> <p>Thanks in advance! </p>
