I'm pretty casual too, I rarely wear heels or have much occasion to really dress up. I try to go comfortable, though sometimes it's too easy because I work for my family at a computer all day, never seeing any other people, and it can be difficult to talk myself out of wearing sweatpants. I would keep the color of the shoes and the top or dress in similar shades to emphasize the leggings, and I would keep the skirt mini or pick one with a high slit to show off as much of the leggings as possible. Without knowing your body type, height, style, or anything else about you I can tell you what I'd wear, but it may not be very useful.
