Cute skirt. I would go for a shortish sweater. One that hits at the hips, so you can see the shape of the skirt. Very nice boots!

A big chunky sweater to balance the boots sounds like a great idea to me.

I love the idea of a big fuzzy sweater. It will balance the weight of the boots and feel more seasonal, but it's also whimsical and fun to go with the feel of the skirt.

A black turtleneck would be great. Hadn't thought of a sweater - but of course, it's winter!

Myself, I'd probably go for some crazy pattern mixing and/or fuzzy sweater or sweater vest.

Did you see Angie's recent blog post with a colorful or patterned skirt with black everything else? It looks like an easy way to wear this and most skirts for winter. Is the skirt black and ivory or white? You could wear a white top with a black vest or scarf or even a black and white print like a large floral or polkadots.

I think if you want to wear the boots, you need a chunky sweater on top to balance it. The skirt looks fun and swishy!

I love this skirt, but i cant find a top to wear with it. I have summer tops. But im not sure for winter. I was thinking black leggings. And potentially buying a black turtleneck. Im also not sure if the boots would make it bottom heavy.
