A well-cared for high-end bag can retain or grow in value (though they should never be purchased for that reason). Like you said, clothing at this time might not be a great choice, as you are still fluctuating in size.</p> <p>I personally always think jewelry is a great investment piece. It can be worn for a lifetime and can be passed on to children (though, again, it should never be purchased for that purpose). It fits (mostly, perhaps with rings being the exception) no matter what size you are and elevates any outfit. Comfortable cute boots are hard to find, especially if your feet are fussy (as are mine) so I'd buy an extra nice pair that I could wear for years. My dominant season is fall/winter here and lasts about 7-9 months where I can wear boots ever time I leave the house. </p> <p>A really nice handbag too. I'd leave the clothing until you are done the baby stage.</p> <p>Jewelry is also a good bet, as it never really dates especially if you love it and it's a statement piece.</p> <p>Nice problem to have! I could use a more updated wardrobe, but that is something I was doing anyway.</p> <p>I had considered shoes, but I recently had purchased two pairs of nicer shoes, and both really caused my feet pain (Tayrn Rose and Cole Haan). I am thinking of sticking to the comfort of Wolkies, Clarks, etc.</p> <p>So, that left me thinking of either a new necklace from an artist (I know bracelets are in, but I prefer necklaces), or perhaps waiting until I am done pumping and purchasing a nice new handbag.</p> <p>I would love ideas! Handbags, shoes, jewelry . . . what fab piece would you recommend a little splurge on? </p>
