Wow, this would so not be for me. Even if I had the dexterity to style this dress properly, which I don't, I'm with Julie; I'd get bored in no time! Thanks for the descriptions, guys. I was just so curious about how on earth this kind of thing was supposed to work!

Basically this garment is a jersey rather full skirt with two long pieces of the fabric attached to the top front that can be knotted and wrapped in different ways to form a top for the dress. It would take lots of practice to get it right and, I suspect, to hold it in position without exposing yourself. It is shown with leggings as a tunic or on its own. Let us know if you want more details. It looks like the colors are bright and intense. I didn't look at the whole thing.

The best way I can think of to describe this dress is a knee length flowy skirt, high waisted with two 8 inch wide yet very long lengths of material at the waist. These two lengths of material can be wrapped several ways, as you would a bandage, to form sleeves etc. Even in the video I think the results look slightly shoddy as you can see gaps forming where the skin peeks through.

I think the idea is nice but would you want to wear the same fabric day in day out? I would certainly be bored in no time.

Thanks for showing an interesting video Michelle.

Michelle- I just watched part of the video that they link to. It's just a halter dress with super long straps. So, imagine a skirt, and then two pieces sewn to the front directly under where your breasts would be. It's got so many conversions because the straps are so long that you can wrap them all the way around yourself a couple of times, and also they are wide, so you can pull them open to make a "sleeve", etc.

I stumbled across this dress and am absolutely 100% unable to picture it in any way: http://www.lolaandgigi.com/pro.....038;cat=16

I can't even fathom how one item can be styled so many ways and deeply skeptical that most of those options would even look good. Could someone help me out with a description here? I'm just so curious!
