Fortunately the salon had small plastic bags on hand. One under the sock, another over the sock, then into steel-toe clog. Oh, and I was on my bike that day. So I spent the session in a bright green polyester knee-length circle skirt. Especially a shirt dress that's shrunk in the wash and leaves you saying 'oh crap, at least my underwear is clean' when you're in the car on the way there.</p> <p>Fortunately the gods took pity on me and they were running late, which allowed me to stop by the Dress Barn next door and pick up these faux leather leggings. I think they'll be useful this fall, even if they were an impulse buy. </p> <p>Bonus: the pedicurist commented on them and asked me if they had to be ironed. I didn't tell her I'd been wearing them for a grand total of 15 minutes at that point... </p>
