There's also Salumi in Pioneer Square. Cured meat, mostly sandwiches place run by Mario Batali's father. Supposed to be a foodie holy grail, but the hours have prevented me from checking it out. I think it's mostly lunch.

Take the bus up Cap Hill and shop/window shop your way down. Chocolate martini at Dilettante (the scene is unremarkable, but oh, the chocolate).

Somewhere in the area, wasn't there also a restaurant run by a chef really bad with people, so he started this one man show where you aren't allowed to use the cloth napkins on the table but the food is excellent?

Another vote for meeting locals.
The lines at Piroshky Piroshky in the Market are bonkers long though.
If you like oysters and seafood, The Brooklyn is great. Last year I met runcarla there for happy hour for her first raw oysters.
Revel in Fremont does interesting Korean fusion food and good drinks. Their crab noodle is amazing.
Tray in Freellard (between Fremont and Ballard) does this interesting take on dim sum.

It is. At Pike Place Market. I vote the salmon and marzipan piroshkis.

I'm a big Capitol Hill fan - my stomping ground - and vote you roam around there as its just up the hill from downtown.

I would also like to think that meeting a Fabber or two is in the cards!

The Fluevog shoe shop at 205 Pine is a favorite of mine, really good for selection. Purple restaurant for fab small plates and a 3 story wine rack (take a selfie). If you like gear, Seattle is heaven -- my best Columbia rain gear found there on my rainy July birthday! The biggest Sephora store downtown I've ever seen. Near Pike's Market and down an alley is the pink door restaurant, go straight down the stairs, really good food but no name that I know of.

Pioneer Square
Cocktail Bar: E Smith Mercantile. It's tiny though, but very interesting drinks in a cool space.
Restaurant: London Plane. Menu changes on availability of whatever is in season.
Urban Park: Waterfall Garden. A really cool tiny park.
On the staircase below Pike Place Market, Zig Zag Cafe. A few years ago their bartender won best bartender in America. Unfortunately I think he's then since retired due to health issues
Fremont:
Theo Chocolate Factory, they give tours, but book in advance. Can't wear perfume. Otherwise buy at the gift shop. I send out there chocolate as presents, always a big hit.
See also the Fremont Troll, Lenin & the Rocket.
I don't like Bellevue so can't recommend anything there.
This is all off the top of my head.

I'm traveling to Seattle next week! Will be working remotely during the week but flexible hours. Of course I want to visit the flagship Nordies

What are the must-see destinations in Seattle? I'll be in the Pioneer Square, Fremont, and Bellevue areas at various times. Plus presumably downtown.

ETA: As Angie reminded me, I would love to meet up with any Seattle-area Fabbers! I'll be around March 16-19th, staying in Pioneer Square during the week. Please PM me or comment here if you're available and interested :)
