My personal time for repeating the entire outfit as I wore it is 1 month. My repeat limit for noticeable items (patterns, colorful things, interesting pieces) is 2 weeks, if not repeated in the same outfit. Pants, yes, I can repeat weekly (never with the same shirt). All that to say, I've been that way since when I was young, I didn't always have wardrobe enough NOT to avoid repeating, and I was very self conscious about it. Some people really like the variety, while others like to repeat outfits that they felt great wearing. And sometimes people who have large wardrobes like to challenge themselves not to repeat outfits so that they can use as many pieces from their wardrobe as possible and not just let the clothing sit unused.</p> <p>It can be fun sometimes to challenge yourself not to repeat an outfit because it can force you to try new combinations of things already in your closet.
