I was just at the mall (my son wanted some new shoes) and one of the stores actually had this style in it! I was able to try on the black suede and the 8-1/2 fit perfectly. I'm normally an 8-1/2, but it is common for me to need a 9 in boots. Anyway, thanks so much for the help! I'm so tempted to get the burgundy ones. Mine are a smidge snug through the ball of the foot, but I haven't actually worn them yet so maybe they'll stretch some. I kept the 8 1/2 because the 9s looked too long and they have a pretty long front, even if it isn't wide. The suede ones fit great and I could see that with stretching from wear they might even get to be a little loose .
