Also whether one is using it as real rainwear.<br /> For an investment trench I think I want about knee length , not those that are mid thigh or 4” above— something that looks good over knee length skirts and dress but not too overwhelming over pants and still gives an effortless but not sloppy look unbuttoned . For example mine is mid-thigh which is shorter than the 2" above the knee suggestion; I used to wear a hip length mini trench which was fun, and my mom has a fabulous midi length trench.
