The rare times I order from the US, it takes weeks, because it has to get across the border; even the "BorderFree" stuff takes extra time. The shortest ship time I've ever had from J. Crew, for instance, is one week. 10 days to 2 weeks is more typical. </p> <p>But even within Canada some things take a long time. Zara's usually best; I get my orders within 4 days as a rule. Gap/BR can be relatively quick (about 4 or 5 days) or really, really slow. The Bay is also all over the place. Ditto for Aritzia and Club Monaco.&nbsp;</p> <p>It is especially hard when you are waiting for a HEWI or you have an event you're trying to buy for.&nbsp;</p> <p>I expect the holiday weekend plays a role here, and maybe all energies are on preparation for the sale? I have received some direct from the manufacturer, or brand. That typically takes longer. Sometimes I get an item shipped from a store across country and sometimes it is closer. I can tell because there is a receipt.
