I wouldn't consider these bodycon either. I like Joy's definition: bodycon pieces show off the actual shape of the body part in question, almost like you have nothing on. For instance, the other day I tried on a miniskirt that was made of a stretchy material, and when you saw me from the side, you could see the clear definition of my rear end and how it flowed into my upper thigh. Then you could see the definition of my upper thigh until the skirt material ended. It was really almost like having nothing on--you could have drawn a picture of my naked shape just from looking at me with that skirt on. So back to Nordie's it went! It made me realize that when I look for skirts, I need something with a bit more structure, like denim or its equivalent. People like the Vince Camuto tube skirts...not sure how bodycon those are.

This question confuses me too, partly because I've never had a pair of denim or corduroy skinnies that didn't have knee wrinkles and a bit of looseness after wearing for 5 minutes even if I initially intended them to look sleek. I've only gotten the 'sleek' look with various forms of leggings.

Those skinnies are fabulous on you! I think of bodycon more with pencil skirts and fitted tops that hug every curve. These skinnies hang pretty straight and are not stretching in a way that shows the shape of your calves.

Those don't look bodycon to me. They are fitted, but the thigh and calf are not skin-tight. I could be wrong, though - and definitions change!

I read that body con skinnies are on the way out. But what is body con? Are these body con? They're my tightest skinnies.

P.S. pay no attention to the styling. This pic was not styled at allll!
