Just wanted to beam hugs. &nbsp;My son is a junior and this is his 3rd year of marching band, he plays the sousaphone. &nbsp;My husband and I are roadies. &nbsp;Yes, there is no life but band first semester!! &nbsp;But it's an incredible experience and it makes HS so much easier because your son will have friends of all years looking out for him. &nbsp;Plus the band room is his "home" in school. &nbsp;But it's very intense!! &nbsp;We were shocked because the first 2 years, my son has been in wind ensemble the top tier band as a freshman and was first chair tuba in WE last year as a sophmore, that music is his most intense course. &nbsp;Of course as a jr, the pace goes up across the board. &nbsp;Hang in there. &nbsp;Band, IMHO, is one of the best things about HS because they "belong" and the music staff, if they are like ours, really looks out for your child and so does their section and band friends. &nbsp;Good luck and hang in there!! &nbsp;And do not forget febreeze, safety pins, a sewing kit and shout wipes!! &nbsp;Yours in valve oil..... </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/what-i-wore-while-life-is-too-busy#post-1851730 Sun, 08 Oct 2017 16:03:44 +0000 Jenn 1851730@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Your outfits are so fun! I think that's true for a lot of HS activities, though, especially those first couple years when you have to drive them everywhere. My son is a junior now, and theatre is hours every day. Life has been crazy busy though the fall as my son started high school and marching band which seems to have taken over our lives !.. but I managed to take a few outfit photos...<br /> 1 and 2 are the WHBM dress Angie suggested. I love it! So comfy and the pattern is fun.<br /> 3) terrible pic but I kind of enjoyed the outfit. Zara dot blouse and scarf<br /> 4) I felt so comfy and good in this one<br /> 5) my new favorite shoes!<br /> 6) I wear this vest all the time! I don’t think any piece in my wardrobe gets more wear.<br /> 7) loving the dark florals. Zara top.</p> <p>I have not been spending a lot of time on clothing bc life is crazy so I see various things I would probably change but I have been getting dressed in like 5 minutes every day so .. it does show me my wardrobe is in pretty good shape ...if I organized it! </p>
