Thanks for the info, Christie! I tried it on at the store and it seemed really nice. I will definitely add this to my list, since I would be able to wear it a lot here.

Hi Ana, I love my Jackie Cardigan. I bought the pink one three years ago, and more recently I bought it in green clover. The newer one is styled slightly different and is softer, but over all they seem about the same. They are about all I wear in the summertime. You really should get one.

Christie, your outfit sounds great! Very chic. I love the Jackie cardigan! I have my eye on the poppy color, myself. Glad to hear it wears well over the years.

To be honest, Antje, I've never been to an H&M! There isn't one close to me. When I think Pitaya, I think college student because that is their key audience. It is less fashion forward, but it does follow the trends. The age doesn't matter though. I know many people who are older who swing in for cute tops or dresses. They also change their lines often and are constantly adding new items, so you don't walk around with the exact same top as hundreds of other people.

Thanks Katie!

Interesting. When you say it's young, trendy, inexpensive, I think "H&M". Would you say it's similar, or how is it different?

Thanks Angie.

I noticed when I went to Pitaya's site that they now have a store in Seattle. It is a very young, trendy place, but for inexpensive throw-away styles, it's not bad. I often find a few gems there (like my wear-all-the-time pants).

Thanks Tanya. I love those shoes. They aren't particularly dressy (I think they are supposed to be more like driving mocs than ballet flats, but I treat them as the latter), but they are extremely comfortable. I am really impressed with Nicole shoes, and I am lucky that a great boutique here sells them.

Christie, your outfit sounds lovely! I can totally picture it in my head.
The Nicole shoes are very cute, they are actually almost identical to AK Impress flats that a lot of people here have. How comfy are yours?
I would probably wear those for the meeting, I don't think that they are a single bit crazy, just very cool Even better that they match your personality.

I'm still too lazy to take a photo, but I thought that if I describe what I'm wearing and you guys clothes your eyes, you might could imagine!

Today I am mostly working at home (I have a home office), though I may or may not have to attend a meeting today. Regardless, I will have to run to the post office and store. So I decided to wear something that can be casual (with tennies) or slightly more than casual with ballet flats.

What I'm wearing:

Gray slacks* from pitaya: http://www.pitayaonline.com/it.....38;count=4
They look sort of like this, but not quite as flared, and they are gray)

Black t-shirt from JCrew: http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/p.....=cat302196

Layered over a white camisole from Intimmissimi:
http://www.intimissimi.it/english/index.html

With a light pink cardigan** from JCrew on top:
http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/p.....=cat302185

If I just go casual, I will wear my new tigers, if I decide to "dress up" I'm sort of at a loss as to what shoes to wear. I have a pair of patent ballet flats, but they are so stiff they give me painful blisters on my heels. I also sometimes wear this, which is a bit crazy, but fits my personality: http://www.nicoleshoes.com/shoe/detail/223 (the color I have is not on there; it is somewhere between the gold and mud patent).

* The pants I bought from pitaya are THE best pants in the world. I bought them on a whim because they were inexpensive, and I needed another pair of pants to wear for work that weren't suit pants. They were the perfect length, which never happens for me, and are slightly high-waisted, which is quite flattering. And they are stretchy. I wear them all the time for casual or dressed up.

Pitaya is a pretty cool store that started in my town, but has spread. It has really inexpensive trendy clothing.

**My jackie cardigan is actually three years old, so the pink is not nearly as bright as in the photo. It is a nicely faded muted pink.
