So far I'm seeing a lot of '70s influence for fall. I'm okay with that, but not completely in love (I'm a bootcut and even baby flare gal, but very short waisted so I don't like high-rise). Luckily, my style draws heavily from menswear-inspired basics, which always seem to be around at least in small numbers.

I'm hoping NAS and some GAP purchases will be kind to me and deliver some of my "needs" since I'm a small wardrobe adopter and always have a high replacement factor (and my bust grew ever so slightly recently). I'm also on the lookout for a couple of things for transitional weather or to fill wardrobe holes.

Replacement wise I need:
1 sassy sweatshirt
1 zip hoodie
some l/s tees
1 new pair of bootcuts
1 woven shirt
1 sweater
2 flannel shirts

I'd also like:
a denim shirt
black denim or ponte pants
brown boots that will stand up to dry CO snow
a cardi or knit jacket
a pair of leather sneakers for transitional weather

I love that second cardigan. I need to SYC for fall as well. I have more than enough of everything. However, when Angie's fall forecast comes out, we'll see if my resolve holds up.

My fall winter wardrobe situation is looking pretty grim, and I don't know what to do about it. I just don't have enough stuff that I like, and I'm not sure whether to get rid of it all, or grin and bear it and save.

I had so few sweaters over the winter (4!) so they were on heavy, heavy rotation and I can't stand looking at them any more.

For mid calf boots, I think I have some. They're a realm good length. I don't like having all that extra leather flopping over when I take them off.

After deciding i want a drapey cardigan and the 2 Itried to order at NAS were out in my size I am looking for one similar to these found on Pinterest. Thus begins the search. It is early yet for fall purchasing, and in my area we will have at least 2/3 months of hot. Other than this's, I am looking at all your boot and bootie posts

Not knowing much about fall trends yet, am thinking about mid calf boots, maybe casual fringe booties (Minnetaka)?, what are your thoughts on fall purchases so far?
