He never fully recovered from open heart surgery several months ago. Chuck was like a father to me, so the news was heartbreaking. Fortunately, I&nbsp;have not&nbsp;been to many funerals (this was my second for someone I actually knew), so I turned to YLF for advice about&nbsp;what to wear. A quick forum search revealed that other members had posed the same question in the past. With a few old threads as guidance,&nbsp;I was able to remix what I wore to work on Tuesday (pic 1) for the funeral (pic 2). For the funeral outfit, I removed the chunky pearls, fastened the jacket, and swapped the jeans and Cons for a pleated skirt and pointy-toe flats. The black and white tote seemed like too much of the same with the funeral outfit, so I opted for my red big bow clutch instead. My orphaned Jason Wu for Target skirt hadn't seen the outdoors in almost two years! The weather was mild, so the tweed jacket kept me plenty warm with no additional coat needed.</p> <p>I originally had a more somber expression in the second photo, but it looked horrible. Thinking of some of Chuck's funny comments through the years&nbsp;helped me put on&nbsp;a huge smile for the retake.</p> <p>Thanks for looking! </p>
