Most boots are too big, and these are pretty good--maybe not perfect, but about as good as it's going to get ;-)</p> <p>I do have a large-ish foot for my height, so it might very well be that the shaft portion is wide enough not to cause issues.</p> <p>Suz, I'd forgotten you'd got those blue booties last year. Sometimes they seem to "slide down" on my leg a bit. But I'm still really glad I bought them -- they're great quality dressier booties with weather readiness and I wore them a LOT last fall/winter. I wear the same shoe size as Angie and have shortish legs and so I think maybe the top of the "sock" hits me higher, meaning that there's a proportion wonkiness that may not be there for you. The quality is superb and I wear the heck out of mine during the fall and winter. I have a pair that is probably six years old and still going strong. They’re the perfect size (8.5 is available!) and look great on my foot. They’re not too elongating, which can happen with tapered toe boxes. The 2.5” heel is not too much for me.</p> <p>They only had them in black at my store though.</p> <p>I would really like one of the other colourways (they have brown, grey, and navy).</p> <p>Believe it or not, it’s very hard to get this sock boot style and I’m wondering if I should bite the bullet and get another pair in another colour. </p> <p>Thoughts? </p>
