My bra straps never show with mine. I wear a regular bra and sometimes a cami for warmth (depending on temps). I also like the look of a boatneck layered over a shirt, though I rarely actually wear this. Boatnecks look great with jackets over top. And they can work with a T-neck, too, underneath. Not too practical to adapt tons of cotton tops. But I use these for my "better" tops. I don't like strap showing.
