I prefer natural materials or at least recycled ones but I also thought if I stick to only natural materials (and vegan) I only have cotton and linen, hemp. It doesn't have much variety of texture. </p> <p>That said, I have a uniqlo skirt in polyester and its the longest surviving thing in my closet. Probably the cheapest thing too. It sometimes makes me wonder how "sustainable" the more natural fibres are if they only last a year (admittedly with weekly use) whereas my poly skirt has lasted 7 years (and through 2 pregnancies). Of course I won't buy uniqlo because of their ethics but def can't fault them on their quality. </p> <p>I think the majority are right though, it may not get used as much as I'm imagining it will.
