Well I made a pact with myself to always be honest in a gentle way as possible. Sometimes I feel like the only dissenting voice in a throng of yes. I noticed the same thing, it would be a waste of your money to settle for the baggy front area. Please return it.

I guess I am unsure. The problem is the front is baggy compared to across the shoulders.

Pictures generally aren't flattering. It does look a bit wrinkly and unglamorous to me being that it's a boxy fit. Return if you have doubts. Don't ever settle when it comes to spending your money, put it towards something you like better!

Here are some pics - sorry for the poor quality. I'm wearing a fleece shirt and jeans, and the removable liner is buttoned in. I can see now that this coat is not very flattering. Should I keep it anyway?

I like it! It has a nice classic, quality look to it at a good price. But can we see it on?

I love this coat. I bought a very similiar London Fog in the autumn (traditional beige) and I absolutely love it. It has served me well so far and I plan to take it on a trip to London in June as my only coat option. I love it.....dont worry about the size; sizing has changed so much over time. Just make sure you feel good in it and it fits you properly.

Love this! It's a very classic coat even if you don't want to spend a lot on it. I wouldn't get so hung up on the size. Even when they laser cut fabric, people which do the sewing are human. Some jackets that are Large fit like they are Medium, etc etc. Just buy what fits YOUR body right.

I want a nicer looking raincoat with a hood, for a trip we're taking in May to Turkey. I ordered this London Fog trenchoat in Medium and Large, in Stone. The Large feels better than the Medium which feels tight across the back.

http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/lo.....sultback=0

I compared it to the London Fog trench coat I bought 25 years ago, which doesn't have a hood, unfortunately. My old raincoat which is size 8 fits the same as this new one, which is a Large. I don't understand how this could possibly be. My old one is quite long and has a zip out wool liner, and is a darker color, almost an olive. Nevertheless, what do you think of this new coat? It was the only one I've been able to find that seems to fit the bill, without costing an arm and a leg. I'm reluctant to spend a lot on a raincoat because I rarely wear the one I already have, since it almost never rains where I live.
