I do like the dramatic contrast between the blunt, straight bangs and the voluminous soft waves, and I think you've got the hair texture to achieve that contrast. Anna, I think you and I have similar texture to our hair -- wavy, a bit fine, but with enough of it to have some volume. I find it much easier to straighten just my bangs than my entire head, and I can never get all of my hair perfectly straight, which makes the idea of the style you've posted appealing. </p> <p>I wonder about the blunt bangs though. Have you tried that before? I did some years back and found it very hard to maintain -- I gave up and went with softer, more layered bangs. But I live in a humid climate and my hair often doesn't hold a straight, sleek look for long, even if it's just my bangs.
