I'm just not sure what else would work without looking completely phony and silly. This may sound weird but I feel like people don't really judge my coloring well so it makes me nervous because I don't know if they will choose something that complements me. Whenever I ask for help with makeup, the assistants always seem to choose shades from the "tan" end of the spectrum and they are always at least 2 shades too dark. The wonderful thing about a good hair cut is that you can look really good without tons of make up. The pictures are for drama.</p> <p>My hair sounds like yours - and I have lots of layers cut into my hair which is a little shorter than chin length. I started using L'oreal Aquanet ( at Target ) in super hold. This hairspray is freakin' amazing. It keeps my bangs and layers looking great and it combs out at night.
