I like them a lot. And I they look great with the cropped tops, very fresh. If you wanted to tone it down a little try slipping a blazer on.

You look great in the pants! I think Unfrunmped ideas about grounding them with some basics are spot on. You need to feel confident and well in them, otherwise the trousers wear you, and I guess that's not what you want.

Looking forward to some styling pics

@Shevia, hahaha you made me laugh, of course I know "I Dream of Jeannie" although I knew that show as "Mi bella genio".

@donnat, Thanks. I don't own a short sweater but I have "fluid" tees, less fitted than the ones I'm wearing in the pictures.

@Unfrumped, I like your ideas! Sounds like I would be more confortable and feeling more like "myself" if I incorporate other more classic/simple items of my wardrobe. It makes perfect sense.

Alright, I'll try some of your suggestions and I'll show you the looks later Hope I don't look too "I Dream of Jeannie" or "Aladdin", hehe.

Ha - it is the tops like remind me of I Dream of Jeannie, but in a good way. Hmm, that reference might be a bit old for you, but the pants look great - I like them cropped a bit like on the left.

Those pants look great on you. I think it is the trendy silouette you might have to get used to. Try them with a cropped tee, maybe even a short sweater. Unfrumpled has the ticket.

I think they look great, though this is from someone who leaped into more high- waisted pants as soon as I could.
I second wearing them with something a little more simple/ tailored. I like a simple knit T, can be crew neck or ballet or v depending on whats flattering, can be short sleeved or 3/4 or long/ scrunched, in slightly fluid fit so is tucked but let it blouse a little. The fabric can be plain , or silky , sparkly for dressy..
I know there are other good options, too, but this is a good formula ( learned from Angie!) for wearing a more trendy item with simpler basics

Thank you, @Suz!
@Jules, Yes, I haven't worn the pants outside, and the crop tops were just a first try to take the photos, I'm open to other options :D
I wore a button shirt tucked in and it look good (I guess). It's just the bagginess that makes me feel weird, I don't know if they are too big or this is a trendy siluette. Also, I think I have to wear them with heels, when I bought them I tried them with boots and they looked even more baggy.

I really like them too, but they are a lot of pant so you need to feel comfortable with that. If you feel costumed, maybe a shirt that's less dance wear/ costume looking - I get why you are doing a cropped top obviously, but do you have something else to try on top? Maybe a simple tee shirt and a topper? Oxfords or booties? Those might help ground the look.

I wanted to try a high waisted pair of pants, these are from Charlotte Rousse (I looked for them there, as some of you suggested), but in all seriousness, I kind of feel like Aladdin. I don't know if it is because I'm simply not used to this siluette or there's something wrong with the look. I need a second opinion, are these flattering? Should I get them tailored and make them more fitted? Should I wear them with something else? Any suggestions?
Sorry for the mess.
