Keep this in mind, though: Docs need to be broken in. There may be blisters involved. I haven't owned a pair since my twenties, but they were a staple for that decade, and every pair I ever had needed a week or two of breaking in. But I think it would be wise to think through how and what you would wear them with. I can see these working with some pants, ie. jeans, skinny pants and of course you could wear a wider leg over them.
