I seem to remember one of the fashion bloggers falling deeply in love with some RC booties last year and she wore them a lot, so that bodes well for these. I think with this height and style, you can either roll the hems of your skinnies to hit above the bootie top, or just let the hems scrunch a little. I wore the scrunched treatment recently (and plan to today, I'll try to take a picture later), and I like how easy it is.
