I don't know what style I have but it's similar to the yellow one you posted; mine is brown. I wear mine in cold cold weather (it's common to be -21 Celsius or colder here) and I am just fine. I also find it's sleek enough for me to wear over work clothes and I still feel like I look professional. I wouldn't hesitate a second to buy another one! The only bad thing about it is that the removable hood snaps off way too easily- so it's always coming off when I don't want it to. I usually wear it without the hood but if you want a hood I'd get a completely attached one. I guess because it reads more like a satin to me. My current puffy coat has a sheen to it, which I like. No way to look like a bombshell in a puffy coat, so why try anyway? I am sort of on the fence about the waist stitching on this one - it doesn't define your waist (it's a puffy coat - not a pencil skirt) and I kind of wonder if it just looks odd? Like, "here's where my waist would be if I wasn't bundled up in this coat". Do I really need to send that message? Seems kind of silly. Maybe I'm over thinking this. They also have the sun valley parka in this pink. A big plus point for me (besides the cold rating) is the defined waist. That helps mitigate marshmallow-man. I was thrilled to find that they carry XS petite which works for me! Love mine, and think it looks flattering for a puffer coat. I forget the style but it looks very similar to the first example. But both options look great. Much like Lands End puffers. They run big. I like the pink best for you :) Personally, my puffers need to be knee-length. When it's that cold - I need extra coverage. I liked that the shape of the quilting was flattering because it pointed downward and I'm a pear shape so that works well on me. I really like the slope side parka for you. The detailing at the waist will really accentuate it nicely. The first one looks shiny and the detailing looks like it will highlight the middle and legs. (For myself two things I don't want to do so this is my bias here.) I like that the quilted lines are fewer and of varied sizes than the first one and it's less shinier too. This would probably make the coat more figure flattering! I have only one puffer coat - a silver-colored North Face - which gets a LOT of wear in the colder months. What do you think of one of these?
