I'm sure you will find a lot of use for them. If they were of the higher kind, I would have opted for regular pumps instead, but that's only my personal preference. My. Feet likd them and j thought they would be my default shoes, but I like a " separate" heel when I can get it. I find block heels even more stable sometimes, if compared to a wedge with a very narrow heel portion. But I would use them to get HEWI's for sure- a color or a comfort level I can't get some other way. Not particularly fashion forward ,but that doesn't always matter . I don't think you'll find them looking dated any time soon. The semi-rugged sole adds a bit of a fashion touch, and anything by Tod's really transcends trends anyways. I know exactly what you mean about navy footwear as a HEWI.  My version of it is a boot, but still the same quest. I think the issue is more if you love them. I really don't, but they looked good to me when they were the height of fashion, and I bought a few pairs. Once they weren't the new thing I couldn't wait to get rid of them, while admitting to myself that they weren't the style for me.
