From the photo, it looks like your eyes are centered in the middle of the frame, so the width of the frame is good for you. I like the lighter frame with your hair color better than the black frames. Just dark enough to give some contrast, but not in any way severe. The size and shape are also well-suited to your face and there is a nice "lift" at the bottom outside corners which is very flattering. Lots of room for progressive lenses, too, if that's what you need. If you think about the CPW over two years or so, which is what I always have to do LOL for an expenditure like this it's probably quite reasonable. I think that money is well spent on flattering eyewear - after all, that's what people see first when they meet you! I have good luck with Jean Lafont frames, also French, pricey but not over the top. I'd like to have a wardrobe of specs like Angie has, but I never seem to get around to it :). 'of course' they look nice - they won THE award at the Paris spec shows a few months ago (the girl at the store tells me!.).. and alas they have the price tag to match... but they also FEEL lovely on (Shannon's reflections running through my mind in the store as lust was taking over!). And blue is 'my' colour etc etc. Carolbee, they come in black as well but think that kind of defeats the purpose of having to have a new pair :-S Anyhow, I might sleep on it, and perhaps Angie might have an opinion... The store has told me I can put them on layby for as long as I like so... Not they are probably THAT expensive for glasses but still.
