I'm trying to remember (I tried on a ton of stuff)--I think the issue was the sleeves. They were a little too long on me to be bracelet sleeves, so I'd have to get them hemmed, and that can be quite expensive on a blazer. Plus, I wasn't sure how I could work it into my wardrobe and not look too businessy, if that makes sense. I have a nice black blazer from Express that is very flattering, but I've tried working it into several outfits, and it pretty much only looks relaxed enough when I pair it with skinny jeans and some sort of knit top underneath, maybe a scarf if it's cool enough outside. I need to invest in some more jeans, really, since I only have 3 pairs, including my white pair. My black ones seriously need replacing, they are starting to look grey. I also want to add items that will work for multiple outfits. All that combined sort of lead to a "no" for me personally, but from what I know about your wardrobe, I could definitely see it fitting in nicely for you. </p> <p>I'm toying with the idea of taking the little cropped sweater back (even though I love the little embellishments around the neckline!). I could basically only wear it with a high waisted, plain skirt.
