I like them on myself, and I don't find them all that unflattering on others. It's just my perception. I have read advice that is both pro and anti cap sleeve, ironically for the same reasons! My eyes happen to be on the side that sees cap sleeves positively. You can tell me all day that they are unflattering, but I just don't see them that way.
