I could certainly give those a try… if I can just come up with something for the top half of my body that could work well. I don’t have purple shoes (I wish!) but I could do my white sneaks. I briefly tried that and didn’t like it, however if I have a white top on it might work better. I’m just conscious of feeling to “uniform-y” in navy and white. </p> <p>Helena: I totally agree matching it with something else in the outfit is key…. What footwear I team with them is more about the formality of the cut and fabrication of the pant rather than the colour. Now I am more excited about my navy pants. Will try the below options that are in my wardrobe.<br /> I think the success of some of them will really hinge on balancing them with the right top, so there’s a bit of experimentation that needs to go into it but hopefully I can come up with some more cool weather options. They’re really nice pants so I hope to utilize them more…<br /> I am sensing that there is a little wardrobe hole here though. I could really use a taupe or cognac shoe…. Perhaps I’ll add it to my wish list. It would need to be refined enough to work with tailored pants, with a low enough profile to work with the length of pants.
