I tried out the Splendid slip ons, below. There is just a lot of plain real estate of a leather upper, in a Vans style&nbsp;slip on. The leather versions have a sheen, which, for me, looks even bigger. I ended up choosing instead to&nbsp;replace my fading light burgundy&nbsp;pull on Converse with a grey version of the find, below.
