But when it comes to spending money on certain things, that’s “the category”. Hope that makes sense. </p> <p>I used to spend money on knits but found that a waste of money. No matter how much money I spent, knits pill and look shabby quickly. Before TLF I could see the point because I carried one neutral bag all season except for more formal occasions. Now I'm seeing bags more as a part of an outfit and changing them frequently. This is what I personally do: make sure it sits squarely on my shoulders, there are no baggy pouches around the chest area. The sleeve length is good. If it's a full sleeve jacket, then it should extend below my wrist to the base of my palms. The length works for me (see various posts from Angie on lengths for different body types). And just as important that it's not too small for me. I always raise my hands above my head to see if the underarms feel tight. If the whole jacket rises with my arms, then it's probably not right. It has made such a HUGE difference to wear Chantelle bras and Miracle swim suits thanks to Angie. Taffy, since you're in the market for structured jackets - I'll put in a demi-plug for them as well. It depends on how and how often you wear your jackets. I own both inexpensive as well as expensive jackets and there's a big difference in how they fall and drape over my body.
