Luckily we're all desperately allergic to cats, so I don't have to worry about cat hair (which gets everywhere, or so my cat loving friends tell me), but I grew up with a beagle and I know how bad dog hair can be, too. Beagles shed lavishly, and each hair is banded black and white, so it shows up on everything. In fact, when we bought our dear sweet cockapoo (cocker spaniel/poodle cross) fifteen years ago, part of the appeal was the non-shedding poodle fur. It's more like wool. I have two items of clothing that I just love: a black BR non-iron shirt, and a black brushed cotton pencil skirt with big ampersands printed all over it. But they both collect lint like nothing I've seen. Aaaargh! Any suggestions on how to deal with this, other than a lint roller? </p>
