Clothes and fashion was always my creative outlet but all my work contacts, my best girlfriends and my 2 very well dressed and groomed SIL (both 10yrs older)were already abroad at that time. I was born a city girl but after college and postgrad I started working at a company in&nbsp; suburbs/rural area -which was very strange to all I was used to back then (in 1995) and suddenly&nbsp; had no other person of my age and position to take inspiration for&nbsp; dressing and feeling great at my age (neither for work as an executive&nbsp; in an office or casuals).&nbsp;<br />Loved reading about all the stories here. I do remember I was trying to define/redefine my personal style in a time dominated by skinny jeans, 8" pant rises, and an over abundance of black at retail. I was so thrilled to meet Angie at a YLF meetup at the Queen Mary tea room in Seattle and participate in a clothing swap way back in 2008. While I followed YLF over the next decade, I was pretty quiet on the forum. I didn't resume commenting with any regularity until late 2019. With my mother's passing and the start of the pandemic, YLF became a significant part of my daily routine not just for the fabulous style pearls of wisdom. We had a great time exploring the USA and Canada but after nine years of this, we decided to get back in the housing market and purchase a house but keep the MH and travel during the summer months. We moved into a brand new retirement community with lots of new retirees who were eager to make friends and have a social life. I joined a bridge group, a maj jongg group, a discussion group, and we became ticket holders for the symphony. I needed a wardrobe and had to start from scratch because our adventurous life wardrobe consisted of one nice Armani suit and lots of hiking gear. I looked up fashion blogs and devoured them and somehow found YLF which quickly became my favorite. I really appreciate all of the help Angie has given me, not only from her fabulous posts but also personal feedback. The Blog and Forum has been a part of my morning routine ever since the day I found it. Thank you, Angie, for keeping YLF going. Greg had a great idea! </p>
