I got mine for work because everyone kept telling me they were great for cooks. But I have found real Danskos not at all great for standing eight hours. I bought these during a time when I was doing a lot of air travel, and they are great for that -- between taking shoes off for TSA, and long walks between airline gates. But really, I think that's the only time I've ever worn them, and I do think that my jeans are probably too short to wear with them. Taking them in. Personally, I have a pair of brown Danskos that I wear with jeans and think they work (and look, if styled right) just fine! But if you aren't wearing them, that's another thing. I think making them look good has a lot to do with what you wear with them. I have an appointment at the consingment shop tomorrow, and I'm considering taking them in. Of course, just my luck I will take them in and then see Angie blog about how they are all the rage and they make everyone look tall and slender. </p>
