Like Ornella, one of my favorite button front shirts is from H&amp;M, of all places! It's their LOGG brand (Label of Graded Goods). Not only is it soft, it's held up beautifully through many launderings and the sleeves are plenty long for my long arms. </p> <p>You and I are at different ends of the height chart, but I understand about limited options. I'll look at a shirt online which is offered in, say, six colors. All are soft, but not drapey like silk or chiffon would be. Evan though I bought them to layer under sweaters, I am pleased that they are not sheer, even though light weight.</p> <p>I also have a couple from JCPenney from a couple years ago. I'm sure that that softens them and makes them more drapey. I don't like the BR non-iron ones. They are too stiff and shiney to me. I do have one of the J Crews as well. In my opinion they are softer and more drapey - but the fabric seems thinner to me than the BRs.
