I currently have three pairs (two knee length - one knit fabric, one linen; one linen full length) and would like to add a few more. The Eccos are so sleek, with unadorned aiglets and skinny laces!</p> <p>Something about the low versions with laces makes them feel orthopedic to my eye. And I find that slip-ons often rub my narrow heels. I have tried a few pairs even so with no luck.</p> <p>I honestly think I have painted myself into a corner, so in the meantime I bought the Fabulous rainbow sneakers below! I tried last year (and possibly the two summers prior) and had to settle for light beige, which is useful but didn’t fill all the holes. I think I’ve finally sorted a refined pair and a a more casual, trendy pair. When Janet posted these Seychelles they caught my eye because I don’t like to wear closed toed sandals (i.e. traditional fishermen sandals) and the Seychelles loafers I bought last fall have been MVPs for both comfort and style.</p> <p>The Munro I think will fit the bill when I need something more refined &nbsp;but still eminently walkable for business trips.</p> <p>My other searches have been for been short sleeve or lightweight collared shirts for summer and my eternal &nbsp;for opaque white tee and button down shirts. I had some surprise success with the former at Old Navy with these 100% cotton shirts.
