Also have a pair of grey crops that fit well. Just discovered that Angie was right about shortening the ankle pants to crop length.&nbsp; So for the fall/winter season I am finding the crops a perfect solution. They work well with flats, heels, my 2 inch block heel shoes, and best of all they are perfect with the higher shaft booties.&nbsp; The trick here is to have all the high shaft booties almost the same height. Ankle pants are fine for almost all kinds of shoes and tall boots, but do not work for any of my other footwear.&nbsp; </p> <p>I am looking for narrower leg culottes, but not finding them yet.&nbsp; Not sure if I will like them being any shorter than the crops that I have.&nbsp;IS what I am looking for really crop flares? &nbsp;I am petite height, but have longer legs, so almost never buy petite pants.&nbsp; </p> <p>I guess&nbsp;another question here is do you like skin between pants and booties, how much, or none?</p>
