I typically have at least two formal events and several less formal and a couple casual. I am still thinking through everything. I hate getting it all together last minute.</p> <p> My first outfit is a white Kate Spade blouse with matte white sequence on the collar and an embroidered organza overlay. I plan to wear it with a metallic white pencil skirt I purchased last year from J Crew and my smoke colored Paul Green Mary Jane Pumps.</p> <p>My second option is to wear some blue suede leggings with a metallic blue tunic top. I would pair that with my long Grey Jason Wu Cardigan that has white pocket embroidery and some pearls. They recently moved into the city and live in an apt that is always very warm even in winter so cashmere sweaters are NOT ok for this event. My friend loves the location and everything about living in the city but bemoans that she cannot wear most of her sweater collection at home. </p> <p>I'm thinking separates, with some velvet. I'm especially liking the print top from Anthro shown in finds, with black pants. Not sure I want to spring for fancy shoes I'd hardly ever wear but like the Anthro ones in finds. </p> <p>What is everyone else thinking of for holiday outfits? What seems to be trending this year? I know Angie you were thinking of a bright pink suit...</p>
