I'm also planning on wearing them with chunky handknit sweaters, tunic tops, short sweater dresses/tunics, and a whole host of other jackets. As for footwear, I am sticking to boots, all kinds of them. They are not long enough for me to feel comfortable wearing them with non boot shoes.
