Anyone sporting three or more of these trends would be set for a "Remember the '10s" party twenty years from now. BUT, it may be harder to put together an outfit since most of these items will be in the landfills instead of thrift shops. Which is weird, because I turned 18 in 2010, so I'd think that there'd be a clear break for me between the decades. That said, for the 2010's, I think particularly casual overall style has been popular, with the Sporty Luxe trend others have pointed out taking off, and things borrowed from previous decades like harem pants fitting in well because they're loose and comfortable. I'm also thinking of loud statement necklaces that were popular for the last few years, alternative hairstyles (like the undercut and the "man bun"), distressed denim (which is so popular right now I had a HARD time finding polished white jeans!), graphic tees (which seem to have become acceptable for people of all ages to wear, which makes me very happy because I was told at one point that I'd have to abandon them after I turn 30 and I refuse), and leggings. I remember a junior associate joining my big, East Coast, business casual law firm in ~2010 who wore pumps with slim fit, cropped pants that hit about 2-3 inches above her ankle bone almost every day. I'd worn cropped pants that hit at my ankle bone in Fridays (when jeans were permitted), but these pants seemed shocking. The rest of us wore traditional trousers in wool suiting material. Despite there being 400 lawyers in the office, people in other groups commented on it. She's gone, but I see people wearing similar looks and wouldn't bat an eye unless they're heading to a big meeting.
