Works nicely, but I also like my pants a bit sloucher looking.</p> <p>EDIT: I prefer taller boots OVER slim pants rather than under. I have to roll the pants up or they are very bunchy/pouffy at the opening of the boots. They work "ok" with the flaps up on the Storm boot (pants legs still feel loose and want to come up), but I thought you suggested that I wear them with the flaps turned down?</p> <p>With the Billy shorties, if my leg is turned just so, you can't see the boots through the pants. It works, but, I was just wondering if there was a better option I was missing.</p> <p>I am probably over-analyzing this. It just feels odd, particularly with the storm boots. They all fall pretty much straight down from my calves. None work well with my Frye Billy shorties or my Dolce Vita Storm boots. They are too slim in the leg to cover the boots, but bag and bunch up and out of the boot when I try to tuck them. So the only shoes that work with them are my oxfords...and I, well, my snow boots (very gearlike). Do tall boots look ok with slim/straight leg jeans or can someone point me in the direction of booties that will work? </p>
