My brother's birthday is tomorrow and I had planned to go directly to the train station after a LONG day to catch a train so I could be there tomorrow for the morning wake up birthday song.</p> <p>Between Berlin and Leipzig the train had to go very slowly for a while and they made an announcement that it was because there was a suicidal person on the tracks somewhere. Of course I missed my train in Leipzig. And then, to my astonishment, that service lady tells me that the train at seven was the last train heading to Frankfurt. Seriously? I mean where are we here!? Ah yes, Leipzig of course. She told me I could take the last train back to Berlin. Really? But then after some discussion she gave me the stamp I needed for the hotel. I'm sitting here right now in a hotel in Leipzig. Well at least it's a nice one....</p> <p>My train heading home is the earliest in the morning, leaving at five. And I'm doing all this just to make the journey back again on Sunday! My brother can't say I don't love him. I'll be there at ten and know what my mother told me my darling brother said? That's perfect, now you can all wait for Astrid before you do the morning wake up birthday song and I can sleep in. </p>
