I think they're always around. Monster wedges came and went, but normal wedges -- especially wedge sandals -- are kind of classic, I think.</p> <p>Wedge pumps seem like something that might go out of style, though. The daintiness of a pump is diminished by the thick wedge heel, and it seems to me that we choose pumps when we want to look sophisticated and elegant. So I will continue on wearing my wedges with a platform. I suspect I'm in good company there, as many of my friends have said they feel the same way, in terms of comfort. In my experience, somthing cute and comfy will have a very long lifespan, regardless of whether it is the trendiest thing at any given moment.
